BREAKING NEWS: FLOOD HITS MAKURDI (BENUE STATE)

So many areas of Makurdi where affected around 3:00am today... As students living around BSU (Opp CHS, Gyado Villa, Solar house...) woke up and found themselves in water.
According to our correspondence that was affected, he said...

Water was flowing through the doors into their rooms while in some rooms, the water was coming out under the floors. 

Other areas affected are, NYIMAN LAYOUT area of Makurdi, and the outskirts of NYIMAN popularly known as Ghana. The water Level there will not allow the people of this particular area to go about with their daily activities as their movement is being restricted by water.
