BSUM Cut-Off Mark Still Stands at 180 - Prof Msugh Kembe (VC)

The 5th Vice Chancellor Benue  State University Professor Moses Msugh Kembe while addressing the University community yesterday after the the institution's Monthly Fasting and Prayer/Thanksgiving mass at the Good Shepherd chaplaincy  posited that in line with the institution mission and vision the cutoff mark for applicants seeking admission into the University remains 180 for other courses with exception of MBBS and Law both of which stands at 200, this is coming at the backdrop of JAMBS  reduction of her cutoff mark to 120 for applicants into the University  nationwide.

Recall the monthly prayer and fasting was introduced March 2016 by management and has been followed religiously.  This Month's  was to thank God for bringing us back from the strike embarked by academic staff of the institution earlier this year

Intercession's were lead by The DVC Academics Prayers were offered for peace and stability of the University and amicable and timely resolution of the Nationwide strike embarked upon by ASUU,

The leadership of the Students Union led by Comrade Chuwan Martins Tersoo equally thanked God for victory and prayed for wisdom to pilot the affairs of students welfarism.

In attendance were Principal offices of the institution, Academic and Non-academic staff The general students body and members of the University community.

Furthermore the Vice chancellor charged students to be of good behavior and pursue their academics diligently stating managements resolve to find a way through the strike for students to return back to classes noting that Upon resumption adequate time would be given to students to prepare for their examination.

Students are hereby advised to remain calm and stay around.
