BENUE STATE UNIVERSITY GOES TO THE POLLS IN HER 2016/2017 PARLIAMENTARY STUDENTS UNION ELECTION.


Over 16,000 Students of the Benue State University will today, Friday 10th August 2017 partake in the 2016/2017 Students Union Elections beginning with Parliamentary Elections currently taking place across the nine (9) faculties of the University, ahead of the August 11th 2017 General Election.

Interactions held between BSUGist  and members of the Students Union Electoral Committee as well as a representative of the Dean, Student's Affairs confirmed that all logistics were in place to deliver a Free, Fair and Credible Election.

The  Electorate are enthusiastic about the results of the polls at all levels as they look forward to actively participating in all aspects of the Students Union ritual.

Voting in Parliamentary Elections began by 10AM and would Continue till 4PM when collation is expected to begin at all Polling points across the Campus.


Voters are informed to come along with the following materials for accreditation and voting;

-School Identity Card / Admission Letter
- School fees print out for first semester (2016/2017)
