It was a moment of joy in the faculty of Education as students of educational foundations department celebrated the award of professorship to the Head of Department (HOD) of educational foundations - Prof. SIMON AKPAKWU OCHEME.
Posting and confirming it on Facebook, Prof. Akpakwu posted,
My wonderful and merciful God has done it again, I have been promoted to the rank of full PROFESSOR by the governing council of Benue state university, Makurdi. Thank you merciful Father for your chosen Time is indeed the best of times.
Professor Simon Akpakwu hails from Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State. currently, He is the HOD of Educational foundations department in Benue state university.
He is a hard working lecturer who has worked so hard to ensure that things move in the right direction. He is well loved by students and staff in the Department for his hard work, kindness and the way he dresses smartly. He was awarded the professorship along side Mr (Professor) Akume in the Faculty of Education, while Mr Bua Felix was awarded a Ph.D.
This is a good news to the Faculty of education.
