BSU students are the most well behaved – Comrade Adom EmmanueL

Immediate past President of National Association of Political Science Students, NAPSS in Benue State University (BSU), Comrade Adom Emmanuel has lent his voice in the defence of students of the institution on the backdrop of allegations of prostitution made on Radio Benue recently.

Comrade Adom spoke during an interview with Chris Ikon of Benue.com.ng.

According to him, Benue State University students, comparatively, had the best morals and are the most well behaved.

“If you have travelled wide, you’ll discover that, in terms of morals, Benue State University is one of the best you can reckon with. That doesn’t mean we don’t have shortcomings”.

He however admonished the few perpetrators of the act to consider their ways to avoid giving the institution a bad name.

Comrade Adom also spoke concerning his recent award for the best departmental president saying he owed his success to the tenacious support of fellow students, the head of department, Dr Mrs Member Genyi and the departmental staff adviser.

Amongst numerous record-breaking achievements, he singled out the organisation of the Mr and Miss NAPSS which was just the 2nd edition in the 20 years of the departments existence.

Others include introduction of NAPSS T-shirt and ID card, production of journal, victory at the VC Cup, emergence of SU President, Treasurer, Asst. Sec. Gen., bank account for the first time in the history of NAPSS, renovation of the student park, presentation of awards to lecturers and students, amendment of NAPSS constitution and, free and fair conduction of departmental elections , to mention but a few.
