EVENT: " Project Hope"

THE HOPE ARMY presents "#ProjectHOPE"

The mission of hope is a collective one, and we do not necessarily need a global stage to inspire hope to others. Every individual has something to offer (irrespective of age, location, education, race, tribe, or resources).

#ProjectHOPE is not out to save the world – Jesus already did that – we are out to serve the world. We have realized from our humanitarian work that one of the easiest ways to help others is to partner with people who are on the same mission as you. Although many times, folks believe that they have to start something new in order to make impact. As good as that may be, it is not devoid of its own challenges. We believe that once priorities are set; as to who gets the credit for what, and an understanding of existing societal realities – pain, hunger, poverty, lack of purpose, child abuse, to mention a few, people will be more willing to throw in their differences and cue up to give a helping hand (physically, materially, financially, spiritually, and otherwise).

As a mission, we have been committed to the spiritual and mental development of people and societies within our reach since inception. However, we felt compelled in recent times to fully introduce physical and human capital development. For this reason, the #ProjectHOPE mandate focuses on human capital development through practical trainings, financial support, and mentorship.

Our target locations in the first phase of #ProjectHOPE are rural areas and ghettos, with the youths and women in focus.

Hence, #ProjectHOPE in Tudun Wada, Lugbe - Abuja, shall be holding a free empowerment and mentorship training on Photography, DJ Production, and Liquid Soap Production, on Saturday 1st July 2017. Time: 12:00pm.
