Students from other schools, just after arriving for the NUGA competitions at a their designated residence at Benue state university claim to have received bad reception. According to them, the hostels were not prepared for them, they had to wait for the cleaning to be rounded up before they can go in despite the fact that some of them travelled all night.
Others complain still yet that having settled in the hostels, the accommodation is not comfortable in the least bit, the sanitation according to them was poorly done, "we might end up sleeping in the classes" they concluded. Nevertheless, they testified that the people in Benue state generally inclusive of the university are nice and friendly people.
