COMMUNITY OF TIV STUDENTS (CTS) BSU TO CELEBRATE TIV DAY IN A GRAND STYLE.

Tiv day is an annual event celebrated by the students of the Tiv extractions in Benue state university. The day is set aside to reunite the tiv sons and daughters that are undergraduates of the prestigious institution. It also gives room for the display of cultural heritage, honouring of hilarious Tiv sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora that deserved to be honoured based on their tremendous track record of achievements and their contributions towards the development of the Tiv nation.

This year's day celebration will take place on the 3rd of December 2016 and as such there are some activities that are set aside to make this event an auspicious one.
Tiv week begins from today 28thNov.- 3rd Dec2016. To be marked by students of the Tiv extractions appearing in their colourful Tiv attires throughout the week.

ACTIVITIES TO WATCH OUT FOR:

1. Inter-local government football matches from 28 Nov. to 1st Dec. @ 2nd camp football field.

2. Tiv rally from law park 2nd campus to first campus on the 2nd of December from 9:am prompt.

3. Kumashe and torkwaor night on the same day 2nd, December 2016 by 4pm prompt @ tlt first camp.

4. GRAND FINALE: Tiv day proper 3rd, Dec. 2016 by 10am prompt @ tlt first camp. This will cover honouring of awardees, launching of the CTS annual magazine.
